Ten days ago, I ran 26.2 miles. That still makes me smile, though it also seems somewhat crazy in retrospect. It's impressive how easy it is to ignore the 'this is crazy' factor in the many weeks leading up to a race. Now that the endurance sports posts are in maintenance mode (i.e., back near zero for some time) and summer is arriving, I'm crossing another item mostly off my to-do list and sharing the rest of my Ghana blog posts with you.
Remember that time I went to Ghana? (I do. It was awesome.) It's been fourteen months and I still haven't shared the vast majority of my experiences and reflections. It's time to do so. Each Ghana post opens my journal to you from that day of my adventure. Days 1 through 8 were posted last year (all with the label 'Ghana' so as to be easy to find). Days 9 through 22 are scheduled to go up over the next month, one post each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. You'll even get to read about Ghana as I wander through the Andes. I take it as a good sign that I'll have completed most of the posts about my last epic adventure before embarking on the next one. Enjoy the journey!
Looking forward to reading through things!
